Sri Raha is a Recognised Qualified Person, recognized by Indian Bureau of Mines ( IBM ) to prepare Mining Plan / Mining Schemes, Prospecting Schemes / Prospecting Reports etc. He represented FIMI in the Mining Plan Grievance Committee of IBM. Mr,Parida is Utkal University Gold Medalist in M.Sc. Geology ( 1975) with specialization in Engineering Geology–Ground Water and Metallic Minerals, started as a Lecturer in Khallikot College, Berhampur and subsequently in Ravenshaw College, Cuttack and Utkal University, Vanivihar between September, 1976 and November, 1977.
He served Geological Survey of India for 36 years (from 1977 to 2013) in different capacities right from Geologist (Jr) to Additional Director General.
He was associated with many Engineering Geology projects like Kalimpong Water supply Scheme, foundation of the Power House Unit-VII of Hirakud, various stages of investigation of North Orissa Irrigation projects. Served as Resident Geologist of Upper Indravati Projct, Koraput and Kalahandi districts of Orissa and completed the foundation and other geotechnical investigation of the project almost single-handedly. In addition to this, attended to the geotechnical works of almost all (more than 65) Major, medium and minor irrigation projects of Koraput, Kalahandi, Balangir, Sambalpur and Ganjam districts, including some geotechnical works of Upper Kolab Hydro-electric project, Red-mud and ash pond of NALCO, Damonjodi, Mahanadi barrage etc. The major projects include Upper Jonk, Lower Indra, Sunder, Saipala, Dumerbahal, Ret, Bankbal, Sunei, Remal, Lower Suktel, Sapua-Badjore etc.
Took over as the Deputy Director General of Operation MPCG, Bhopal in April, 2011 and was transferred to Jaipur in September, 2011 as the DyDG and HOD of Western Region. In August, 2013 promoted to the post of Additional Director General and HOD of Western Region.

Dr.Chanda is having experience of more than 20 years in CMPDI (a Coal India subsidiary) in planning, programming & execution of detailed coal exploration projects by drilling aided by geophysical logging in Permian coals. He formulated number of Geological Reports and is experienced in project planning for Opencast and Underground coal mines / projects. His expertise is in planning, programming & execution of detailed exploration project of Coal deposits, formulation of Geological Reports based on detailed Exploration, Opencast & Underground mine planning of coal deposits, Environmental Management practices, Mitigation Measures and EIA formulation. He is an expert in solving day to day geological problems / complexities of coal mines / projects, identification of patch deposits for production augmentation, Monitoring of Shaft sinking jobs, U/g fault identification and planning of drift. Safety jobs for roof support by RQD estimation and Rock Mass Rating (RMR) identification, coal mine fire identifications, control, monitoring, fighting & prevention, Programming for mine annual target, utilisation of equipment and manpower for augmenting coal production and productivity, Implementation of ISO 14001:2004 in the mines/projects are some of his spheres of expertise.

He is holder of First Class Mine Managership Certificate of Competency (unrestricted) and a Recognised Qualified Person, recognized by Indian Bureau of Mines to prepare Mining Plan / Mining Schemes, Prospecting Schemes / Prospecting Reports etc.
He has rich experience of 38 years of mining out of which 28 years is in underground metalliferous mines; during this period he was in the leadership positions, both in the operations and in the planning division for a group of mines of a leading mining organization in India. During the last 10 years he is involved in opencast iron ore and manganese mines, both in operations and in advisory capacity.
He has successfully led projects for preparing the mining plans for both underground and open cast mines.
